You don't have to tell me...Valentine's Day sneaks up on me every single year, and I'm often found scrambling to find a cute option for cards for every student in my class. Here's a quick, free option if pizza is the way to your kid's heart.
Putting Your Cards Together
Materials
- Free Pizza Themed Valentine's Day Cards Template
- White Cardstock
- Scissors or Paper Cutter
First, download the free template found at the end of this post. The first step is to simply send it to your printer! I recommend using thick, white cardstock as it holds up well, especially when being brought back at forth to school by our little cuties.
Next, cut each card out along the dotted line. Use your regular, straight cut scissors for this part. You'll want a nice, clear rectangle for each card.
If that's all you want to do, you're done! Just write who each valentine is for and from. Great job!
If you're looking for a little bit more PIZZAzz (sorry, I'll stop), try these tricks to spice things up:
Optional Materials to Make Your Valentines POP
- Red Scrapbook Paper
- Decorative Paper Edge Scissor
- Ribbons
Lay your white cardstock valentine down on some red paper. I recommend some red scrapbook paper to match the saucy color of your pizza. Leave about an inch or two of a border around the card to let the red color really show through.
Still not satisfied? My students LOVE using my special decorative paper edge scissors when crafting. They really just make everything a little more fun. Here are some cute and affordable decorative scissors I've found. They're great for so many kid-friendly crafts.
You could also add ribbons to the top if you're feeling super crafty!
